was it a foggy night? it is weird because there is no fog in front of the camera, the fog looks like it is far away from you.and the lightning... it looks like in studio. great job!!

fog increases in distance ;) Technically it was clouds, not fog (is there a difference ?)

no, i know that, but when i tried to capture a scape when the weather is foggy, the whole image was white (because of the fog), you could not see anything; and yours is pretty much clear. that is why i asked :)

Everything depends form luck, how high fog is etc. And contrast, you have to work a lot to get some colors ;)
